Yes, you are right: everybody that is into Gundam now only knows about SEED or Wing... even worst, G Gundam. The 90's saw the introduction of the so-called "Alternate Universes", with the sole purpose of getting as much money as they could by designing more (and sometimes lame –see G Gundam) Mobile Suits. I'm glad to see that someone here still likes old-school Gundam!

If you have not seen "Zeta Gundam", then you are missing the best part of the whole series. Be warned, since it's a 50 episodes series, do not expect mayor MS fights every single episode. Nevertheless, it has a good plot and excellent character development. I got it from a friend of mine that has the whole box of DVD's, but I'm sure that you can download it if you know how to use BitComet.

I recommend that you take a long break before watching "Double Zeta Gundam". Trust me, if you don't do that, you are going to be disappointed. lol

By the way, have you ever heard about cosplaying?

Old Gundam series either better! Seed is good but not Destiny really crap. I should watch Stargazer but something like Destiny make me boring... I love Gundam models so much I can't stop attract them. :D I guess you look like Char ^____^

Being an avid fan of the UC timeline and having -not- watched IGLOO, I need to ask: How far into the UC timeline does IGLOO get into? Stardust Memories? Zeta? I'm just wondering so I can get a good outlook on what is to come if I -do- watch it.
